Well, I'm not dead! I figured I'd post something since I'm so damn inactive these days. Sold the project last week, so she's gone. But that's fine, I had to replace my daily car, but then I fixed it so... Yeah, car payment, that's fun. Recently though I've gotten into Blender and 3D models. Mostly for use in the game VRChat. I'll make some screen caps and show y'all what's up. Mostly ponies but I did finally get a "Darius the Dragon" model. I had to commission it but damn it looks good. If you play the game, hit me up. Just a few more days. It'll drive in just a few days. You have no idea how irritating this build is. SO: Carb cracked. I replaced it. Tranny failed. Swapped in the old one. Bellhousing is wrong so i get an adapter. Driveshaft is too long, send it to get shortened. It's bent, has to be rebuilt. Headers are the wrong size, 4th pair now. And that sums up the entire project; I fix one thing and break another. But the engine portion works, and it did drive without any exhaust for about a mile before the transmission failed. Here's the startup after i fixed the timing.  

Man, I feel bad for not posting any more. I keep telling myself, "I should draw or write something." But I'm lazy and got other stuff going on, like the car build. Everything went pretty well. Got the engine in and running, broke in the cam, nothing leaks. Sadly while I was adjusting a vacuum line I cracked the carburetor. Another week and I'll have a replacement, definitely going to share the running video. Other than that I moved to a better appt with room to work on some other fun projects. Still got some sword props I wanna build.
